Founding customers

We're looking for 12 founding customers.

We make custom outdoor cushions to the exact size you need. We've just started, which means our website has everything except the one thing you'd probably like to see most: photographs of our cushions in other people's gardens.

So we're going to fix that, and you can get a very good deal out of it.

What it is

We're taking on twelve founding customers. You get your cushions made to your exact specification, in Helios solution-dyed polyester, at our cost price. For most orders that works out somewhere around 30%-40% below our normal price.

In return, we'd like you to send us a few photographs of them in place, and tell us honestly what you think. That's the whole arrangement.

What you get

  • The Fit Guarantee. If they don't fit, we remake them, exactly as for everyone else
  • A direct line to me while your order is being made

What we're asking

  • A few phone photos of the cushions where they live, within a month of delivery, we'd honestly rather have those than studio shots
  • An honest review. Genuinely honest, if something's wrong we'd much rather know
  • Permission to use those photographs and your first name on our website

Send us usable photos and we'll add a small thank-you.

Who we're after

We're deliberately picking a spread rather than taking the first twelve applications, because we want to show what the range can actually do. We're especially keen to hear from you if you need:

  • Bench or garden furniture cushions
  • Window seat cushions
  • Campervan, caravan, or boat cushions
  • Anything an awkward shape that nobody sells off the shelf

Why we're doing it

We're new. We know what that looks like from your side of the screen: a website with no photos of real cushions and no reviews, asking you for a couple of hundred pounds for something made specially and therefore not returnable on a whim.

We could wait a year and build that up slowly. We'd rather find twelve people willing to go first, and make it clearly worth their while.
