Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of the Cushionfit website and any order you place.
Who we are
Cushionfit is a trading name of Dead Level Ltd, registered in England & Wales (company no. 17055489), VAT no. GB514718886. Registered office: St. James House, 65 Mere Green Road, Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands, B75 5BY. Contact: tom@cushionfit.co.uk.
Made-to-measure orders
Our cushions are made to order to the measurements and options you provide. You are responsible for the measurements and choices you submit. Please use the measuring guide; our optional Fit Guarantee covers an honest measuring error (see its terms). Previews and colours on screen are indicative and may vary slightly from the finished product and from your screen’s display.
Prices and payment
Prices are in GBP and include VAT at the applicable UK rate. We may change prices at any time, but changes don’t affect orders we’ve already accepted. Payment is taken at checkout via Shopify Payments. We make every effort to price accurately; in the rare event of an obvious pricing error we may cancel and refund the affected order.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you confirmation that your order has been accepted. We may refuse or cancel an order (for example, a suspected pricing error, a payment issue, or if we can’t manufacture the item), and will refund any payment taken.
Delivery
We aim to make and deliver within the times shown in our Shipping policy. Lead times are estimates; we’re not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
Cancellation, returns and faults
Because items are made to your specification, the standard 14-day right to cancel does not apply — see our Returns & Refunds policy. Your statutory rights for faulty or misdescribed goods are unaffected.
Our liability
We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that can’t be excluded by law. Otherwise our liability for an order is limited to the price paid for it, and we’re not liable for indirect or consequential loss. These terms don’t affect your statutory consumer rights.
General
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you order. These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales and subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
