Why buy from us
Why Cushionfit
Made for your furniture, made to last.
Made to measure
Every cushion is built to your exact dimensions — no trimming, no gaps, no compromise.
Made in the UK
Cut, filled and finished by a trusted British workshop, not mass-produced overseas.
Premium fabrics
Weatherproof, fade-resistant outdoor fabrics chosen to survive a British summer — and the rest.
Built to last
Quality fills and tough seams, backed by our guarantee. If it's not right, we'll make it right.
The fabric
Helios, built to sit outside
Solution-dyed polyester means the colour runs through the fibre, not just the surface — so it holds up to sun and washing.
Mid grey
A soft, light neutral that suits painted and natural timber furniture.
Charcoal
A hard-wearing mid-dark that hides everyday marks between washes.
- UV-stable to Level 7 — the colour is locked into the fibre and resists fading
- Water-repellent finish, with quick drainage on outdoor foam
- Mould and mildew resistant for damp British conditions
- Machine-washable covers with a hidden zip
Need a particular shade? Get in touch — we can often source it to order.
Screens vary, so these images are a guide rather than an exact match. If the exact shade matters, ask us before you order and we’ll help.
The filling
Choose foam by exposure, not guesswork
Where the cushion lives decides the foam. Tell us in the configurator and we recommend the right one.
Soft foam
Porch, gazebo or normally brought in. A plush, comfortable sit — happiest under cover, without paying the outdoor premium.
Reconstituted foam
Out on the patio through the season. Firmer support with a recycled core that copes with the odd downpour — just bring it in for a prolonged soaking.
Reticulated foam
Out year-round with no cover. Open-cell and quick-drying — water passes straight through and it dries in hours, built for rain and full exposure.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I measure my cushions?
The easiest and most accurate way is to measure the cushion you're replacing directly. If you no longer have it, measure the seat base of your furniture. Our configurator's built-in guide walks you through it for every shape.
Can you make non-standard shapes?
Yes. As well as rectangles and rounds, we make L-shapes and fully bespoke shapes from a template you send us. Choose "Bespoke" in the configurator to get started.
How long does delivery take?
Because every cushion is made to order, allow a little longer than off-the-shelf. Your estimated dispatch time is shown at checkout.
Are the fabrics suitable for outdoors?
Our outdoor fabrics are weatherproof and fade-resistant, chosen to handle sun and rain. We still recommend storing cushions away over winter to maximise their life.
